Keep on sending us your Valentine's day love stories - we love every single one of them! Here's some love from Vilte's family:
What I love most about Vilte is her eagerness to learn and try new things. She's quick to pick up sign language or to imitate things we show her. In addition, she is very squishy and cuddly :)
We want to continue with sharing the love for Valentine's Day - we want to hear from you and who you LOVE with Down syndrome and why! Send us your comments and photo about your special person!
We will choose a random entry from the entries for a special Valentine's day treat on February 14, 2015.
Amanda Harris Angela makes life better! She is always quick to show excitement, love, forgiveness, grace, mercy, innocence and adaptability. I strive to be like her! :)

Melanie Simpson Merritt Dakota loves his (fellow RODS racer) Joshua Harris. After running in Dakotas honor for over a year, this dynamic duo finally met in person. It was a heartwarming moment and one that dakota will never forget. We are so blessed!

Melanie Preece McKenzie Oh Man! I sure do love my two nephews Jake and Gabe- I don't get to see them as much as I want to. But when we are together they just are incredible, a smile on their faces always and they are always planning an adventure. A conversation with them and you won't be able to keep the smile off your face either! They are just the best. I also love that Gabe was able to come home when his adoption was finalized on Valentines day, what a day to celebrate!

World Down Syndrome Day
THIS MARKS THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY
21 March 2015 marks the 10th anniversary of World Down Syndrome Day and each year the voice of people with Down syndrome, and those who live and work with them, grows louder. Whatever you do, we hope together that we will create a very loud single global voice for advocating for the rights, inclusion and well being of people with Down syndrome on 21 March.
