As I prepare for my greatest adventure to date on this coming Saturday I am reminded of why I test myself the way I do. That is to find out what I am made of and to hopefully inspire others. Well this year has taken on a new meaning and I am using my racing to promote and support something bigger than myself. I have been blessed to be designated as a RODS Racing ambassador and I have chosen to raise money to help those who need it. If everyone of you my Facebook Friends would take the time to donate just $1 I would almost be at my fundraising goal for the year. Help those who need it and let's inspire those around us by paying it forward. http://rodsracing.org/
Kevin Everett, a professional triathlete, living in Boise, joins RODS Racing. Read his story about "WHY" he has the passion to help. I've known Kevin for the past 7 years; he competes at the highest level and is a coach for our Boise YMCA Tri-team. He has helped so many athletes with training, strategy and life balance. I am excited about working with Kevin on RODS Jr. Kevin, Kelly Woodman Driver and Kate Montgomery will rock RODS Jr. and our first sign up is tied to their Jr. Tri-Program. RODS Jr. will soon be live online! It's coming and we will make it BIG! Famous Idaho Potatoes is our title sponsor and we appreciate their support and Idaho potato fuel. Brady Murray's vision, passion and his belief that if one leads with one's heart.... miracles will happen. I'm blessed to have had our paths cross which has changed my life for the better....racing with a purpose. rodsracing.org/trace
Kevin Everett Thanks for the kind words Trace. Grateful to be apart of something special and race for more than sport.
